The positives were that the crib is safe, it is extremely sturdy, it looks great and is well worth the money. One of the comments include Exquisite Build and Finish, Amazing and Beautiful, Sturdy and Stylish, Great Quality At A Great Price, Solid Construction and Easy To Assemble, Amazing Product, and Beautiful Crib. The 1* and 2* negatives were again for the finish and how easily it scratches, one had collapsed, and one thought it was going to be bigger than it was, and a couple had issues with changing it into the full size bed.
Baby Crib Reviews - DaVinci Kalani Convertible Crib Features:
It has a metal mattress support, and this can be altered to four different heights according to how big your toddler is growing. This great feature allows for the crib to be adjusted according to how your toddler is growing, so as your baby grows to a toddler you can then adjust the mattress lower to stop them crawling over the edge.
The DaVinci Kalani Convertible Crib can convert quickly and easily into a toddler size bed or a day bed. With the addition of the wooden bed rails, it then can be created into a full size bed. The Kit for the Toddler Guard Rail is included, and this allows for crib to be converted into the toddler bed. If you would prefer to alter for more extended usage then you can use the Headboard and Footboard which are included to help create into a full size bed, however the (M4799) full size rails are sold separately.
The DaVinci Kalani Convertible Baby Crib is safer for baby too as it has a stationary side, so no drop rails or moving parts and therefore much safer

Below are some tips choosing cribs, safety reminders, and nursery room hints to ensure that your baby is not only as safe as possible, but the experience of parenthood can be enjoyed to its fullest in and out of your nursery, as abridged from Heather B's on-line buying guide for Baby Cribs. Any crib in the market today will comply with industry and voluntary safety standards. These standards ensure that the crib you purchase will be safe, and will regulate features like the space between each slat and hidden hardware. Select a crib with an adjustable mattress height so that when your baby grows, it can be repositioned to the proper level. Make sure this feature is child proof. Check to see if any hardware are properly hidden to prevent accidental scratching.
